Advent Quiet Day

Holy Invitations

This is a night pregnant with good,
A glowing darkness...
That ushers in the dawn of Your true day

(Walter Hinton)

This season of hopeful waiting is a time to pause and reflect on the amazing invitation to sacred transformation and new life. It is a season to prayerfully listen for the mysterious life of the Holy One breathing in and through us at this moment in our lives. During this Advent Retreat, we will open ourselves to this holy life being born in each of us and ponder the fresh ways we can join God's loving, reconciling life weaving in and through the "glowing darkness" of creation.

This Quiet Day will include brief meditations, times of silent reflection, and times of optional sharing. Come and join us for a day of prayerful reflection in the midst of holy spaces and spiritual community.
